Online bingo site, Hem Bingo which is owned by a Swedish media company, United Media is supposedly the first bingo website that has upgraded to GTECH G2’s 2.2 software. Bingo 2.2 from GTECH G2 was recently disclosed at the EiG which took place in Copenhagen.
The new bingo software offers a number of features which include linked games, a new collection of mini games which are included in the bingo game window and multi-currency options. President of GTECH G2, Atul Bali said that the company has made a multi-million Euro investment in the bingo product.
Bali added that in terms of innovative services and products, the company will continue to lead the way, thanks to the ongoing investment in major products like the bingo network and the combined resources of St Minver and Boss Media. The two companies were purchased last year to form GTECH G2’s interactive gaming division.
GTECH G2’s new software will allow a larger spectrum of bingo players to join due to the multi currency options. It will also give bingo players the chance to maximise jackpots should they play the linked bingo games. Mini games included in the software are video poker, slot machines, mini progressive slots and others.
With the new features the Bingo 2.2 will be offering, the Swedish online bingo site should definitely see a significant increase in online gaming activity. GTECH G2 said that it will upgrade Bingo 2.2 on a quarterly basis in order to keep it a high end bingo product.
