The Mrs. Obama campaign was initiated before Mr Barack Obama was elected into office. In the knowledge that Barack Obama’s stepmother is an avid bingo fan, Gala Bingo sought to make the most of the opportunity. Gala Bingo’s PR strategy focussed on the media craze surrounding Barack Obama, in conjunction with its own media strategy.
Lesley Hall, Gala Bingo’s PR manager, is delighted by Gala’s recent accomplishment. According to Lesley, the innovative campaign managed to capture the media’s interest by seizing the right moment. The campaign also enabled the company to increase its awareness among the end users, as well as gather funds for the Sue Ryder Care campaign.
Gala Bingo also introduced a special Mrs Obama bingo room to harness media attention. The recent award is certain to increase Gala Bingo’s popularity in the consumer market.
