Winners galore at the Online Bingo Summit & Awards
The team at Sunlight Bingo have had their glad rags on as they have been rubbing shoulders with THE online bingo royalty at the 5th Annual Online Bingo Summit & Awards at the rather swanky Park Plaza Victoria in London. All the gathered audience at the awards ceremony was like a Who’s Who of bingo, with the great and the good all waiting to see if they were lucky enough this year to win one of the now coveted Bullet Business awards.
And the winners are……..
The first award was for the best online information portal 2010 and sadly Sunlight Bingo weren’t even in the running. The nominees included some very big and well known sites but the final winner, Bingo Port wiped the floor with all competition including the favourite to win and incidentally last year’s winner Which Bingo. Next up was the best Newcomer 2010, this award was for the best new entrant to the online bingo market and the nominees included Bingo Hollywood, Tasty Bingo, Red Bus Bingo, Caesars Bingo and the final winner Tea and Bingo. The well deserved winner was loudly applauded by the gathered crowd, and a very reserved Raj Ramanandi collected the award on behalf of the Tea and Bingo team.
The Best Online Software 2010 award had again some influential nominees and of course Dragonfish, Virtue Fusion, Gamesys, Cozy Games, Parlay Entertainment and NYX Interactive where all in the running. The award was given finally to Virtue Fusion and Alex Haig Thomas made the long walk to the stage to collect the trophy on behalf of the popular software company. The next award was for the Best Marketing Campaign; Foxy Bingo was nominated for their popular The One that I want television ad, Tombola for their sponsorship of Emmerdale, Red Bus Bingo for the advertisements on red buses, Ladbrokes for their memorable rolling balls and Tea and Bingo for the Stop Motion television ads and the final winner was named as Foxy Bingo with Michael Brady collecting the award for the fabulous fox.
Best Online Bingo Innovation saw the likes of Virtue Fusion, Tombola, Costa Bingo and Amuso in the running with the final winner being declared as Virtue fusion with the Deal or No Deal game. The final award of the evening was for the overall winner and Tombola Bingo’s Phil Cronin collected the award for the Best Online Bingo Operator 2010. The evening was enjoyed by all and the only disappointment was in the choice of speakers, Greg Scott who made many in the room feel a little uncomfortable with his cheesy comments and lame jokes. This minor point however did not affect the party atmosphere as the gathered crowd moved the celebration to the official Online Bingo Industry Awards after party…….. Hic! Congratulations to all the winners from the team at Sunlight Bingo.
