Tombola enters new venture with sweet bingo deals
The Sun newspaper owned a bingo website that was run by Tombola Bingo, an online bingo company. The News Corporation – owners of the Sun and Tombola Bingo however had a fall out in September this year, which led to them parting ways.
Tombola Bingo has now set up its own website which currently caters to almost 10% of the total online bingo playing population in the UK. Since then The Sun has had its bingo operations transferred to a different software provider.
Tombola Bingo does not seem to be severely affected due to their split with The Sun as they still continue to entertain their old fans, resulting in the increase of their player base week after week.
Tombola Bingo also gives third party sites a chance to earn some business that is generated by players signing up via 3rd party portals, according to a new deal. Therefore if a site signs up a player generating business of say £750, they can expect to earn almost 35% of that business. The higher the amount of business generated by the player, the higher will be the percentage of business earned.
Since Bingo is still one of the highest growing sectors in online gaming within the UK market, this deal is advantageous to the Tombola Bingo affiliates. Bingo keeps growing as the numbers of bingo players keep increasing every month, with more and more players wanting to relax and enjoy bingo games.
