Tombola Bingo to Sponsor Sunderland AFC from June
Tombola Bingo currently sponsors one of the UK’s favourite soaps called Emmerdale, however it has just been announced that from June they will also be sponsoring Premier League football club Sunderland AFC also know by its fans as the Black Cats. Tombola Bingo head office is also based in Sunderland so they will be supporting their local football team for the next two years.
From next season Sunderland football players home and away shirts will feature Tombola Bingo name emblazoned on them as well as their name being featured at their stadium. It is regarded as a good move by Tombola Bingo as the belief is that they will be able to target a possible new market for their online bingo site. It is a well know fact that the majority of online bingo players are women therefore by supporting Sunderland AFC there is the distinct possibility that the popular online bingo site will be able to draw more male players to the Tombola Bingo site, as after all online bingo is a game that both sexes can enjoy.

Tombola Bingo founder Phil Cronin is equally excited about the Sponsorship deal with Sunderland AFC, saying this “is a fantastic opportunity for Tombola. With our own head office here in Sunderland we have been able to see the work that Niall and his team have done to transform the fortunes of the club.
