Bingo Street team questions Party Bingo on unjustified inactive fee
The Bingo Street team went to London to participate in an online bingo conference and held discussions with various online bingo operators and their affiliates. Many participants were extremely agitated over the imposition of Inactive Fees by Party Bingo on its online bingo accounts.
The Bingo Street team, in order to confirm the shocking news, contacted Party Partners, the affiliate marketing division of PartyGaming. Bingo Street sought clarification from Party Partners as to what prompted them to impose a fee on inactive bingo accounts. Their reply was very disappointing. Instead of giving reasons for the imposition of the fee, they simply asked Bingo Street to refer to their policy on inactive accounts on their website. They did not bother to answer any questions put to them about their unjustified move.
The inactive fee essentially means that if a player does not play for more than 180 days on an online bingo account, Party Bingo will levy an inactive account fee of €5 every 30 days and continue debiting this from a player’s deposit account until the balance becomes zero.
Bingo Street had asked PartyGaming to give justification for this charge, which is construed as an attempt either to retain players permanently with them, or to wipe balances in accounts that aren’t active. No response is forthcoming from PartyGaming as of yet.
The Bingo Street team treats this policy as ridiculous and asked online bingo lovers to send their views and comments to Party Bingo to tell them what players think about it.
