If a big bingo win slips out of your hands then don’t be downhearted as you don’t know what unexpected delights might be around the corner. Well this actually has happened to one family, after a husband tried to score a bingo win only to be disappointed.  However his wife managed to turn the unlucky bingo player’s frown upside down when she won a staggering £290,000.  The big win was not from playing bingo but from playing ITV’s brand new game show called Magic Numbers.  The Magic Numbers show takes place on Saturday night and is sure to become a popular one with jackpot prizes like that.

When Mr Mullins returned from playing bingo a couple of hours later he was not a happy bunny, as he had not been lucky enough to win anything playing bingo. Mrs Mullins aged 67, was soon able to cheer her husband up by telling him that she had won playing ITV Magic Numbers.  Mr Mullins asked if she had won £500, however, when Mrs Mullins announced she had bagged them a breathtaking £290,000 he was quiet literally ‘gob-smacked’!

Mr and Mrs Mullins have decided that they are going to spend their winnings on a trip to go and see their daughter who lives in Melbourne, Australia.  They will also be purchasing themselves a new bungalow as the house they are currently living in at the moment is due to be demolished by the council.
