STV Bingo ads created by The Union

Scottish television has recently launched an innovative online bingo service called bingomood.com. It is supported through a TV advertising campaign, designed by The Union. This ‘quirky’ campaign features people in a singing and dancing class performing a routine to ‘I’m in a Mood for Bingo’, which is a new version of Nolan sisters classic ‘I’m in the Mood for Dancing’. The campaign was formed with the help of The Union and was produced with the help of STV creative.

The head of media at STV Alistair Brown stated that, online growth would be a big priority for them in 2009 and the website bingomood.com would be their latest thrilling venture. He further stated that, these creative ads would capture the fun, social aspects of playing bingo online, and would be promoted to bingo fans across Scotland so they could try to get lucky on bingomood.com.

Earlier last month, STV launched an online enrolment service through stvjobs.com. This was considered as the initial phase for the growth of online classified business through STV. This launch was successfully supported by a similar advertising campaign across Scotland.
