Playtech all set to acquire GTS
The major gaming software organisation Playtech is expected to acquire the popular Gaming Company, Gaming Technology Solutions. GTS, as it is popularly known, will soon be a part of Playtech. The deal is expected to be valued around $10.8 million coupled with an additional amount of $21.6 million, which will be decided on the basis of future performance.
Playtech is a common name in the online bingo industry. It designs online bingo software for Bingoland and is a bingo network comprising of websites such as Ruby Bingo, 777 Bingo, Bingo Day, Bingo Fantasy and Miss Bingo. GTS also offers a wide variety of skill games.
According to Mor Weizer, Chief Executive for Playtech, the acquisition of GTS is a strategic move that will help them to incorporate innovative games. It will also enable them to provide more superior content to users when compared to the other service providers.
GTS already possesses licensing agreements, concerning 15 European gaming companies along with 30 other online brands. Some internet brands are currently not a part of Playtech. It is certain that the move will provide Playtech with an increased number of partners. Weizer also feels that the move will permit them to utilise the increasing popularity of the sports book segment.
Playtech can thus offer additional services to their users with the help of this recent deal.
