Did you know that there is such thing as a bingo championships? Maybe not, but Robert Robinson did. The bingo player entered the Paddypower bingo championships last month and was actually crowned winner.

This means Robert not only walked away with the top prizes of a Chevrolet Aveo car but he can now officially call himself a European Bingo Champion. Upon winning he announced how it had taken him 2 hours of online bingo playing to qualify for the uk bingo final.

Robert was not the only person to walk away with a great prize. Runner up prizes included: a complete home make over, a year free flights, laptops, flat screen TVs and a weekend in Paris.
Due to the event being so popular they are now in the midst off arranging the European Bingo Championships of 2009.
