Giggle Bingo is a brand new online bingo site which launched mid September. The press releases for the new Giggle Bingo site placed the main emphasis of the site on the community aspects and the humour that would be enjoyed at Giggle Bingo, although there is a smattering of humorous content with jokes and some chat room faux pas’ the Giggle Bingo site is pretty similar to its more established sister site, Platinum Play Bingo. At a time when lots of sites are offering stacks of free bingo, Giggle Bingo has obviously decided to keep this particular option to the minimum, so only offer 8 free bingo games on a Friday and Saturday night starting at 8.00pm on both days.
The price of Bingo tickets are reasonably priced costing anywhere from 5p up to 50p and although that isn’t a particularly high price per bingo ticket it would be nice to see a little more free bingo play too. There are a few irritations, mainly the annoying ‘woo-hoo’s’ and the ‘only two’ or ‘three away’ comments which are constantly played every time a player in chat adds 2TG or 3TG (luckily this can be switched off via the options), the fact that there is no clear visual indication on a players cards as to how many numbers they are away from an online bingo jackpot win, lastly and it has to be said most annoying of all the irritations, is the minimum deposit of £20. Most people are loathe to make a deposit of £20 to a new site, and Giggle Bingo may not be having quite so much of a giggle when they find that players decide to play at a more established site that offers a more realistic minimum deposit of £5 – £10. These really are minor annoyances for what is otherwise a very good site, the software is above average which you would expect from a big name software provider like Microgaming.
The Chat Hosts are friendly, if a little ill-informed about what standard terms and conditions are on the site, at time of writing there was a positive mutiny going on in the chat room when one of the CH’s was unaware of very basic information on the withdrawal rules (which we have to point out players are quite able to access themselves in the FAQ section!) but this is early days and no doubt they will soon be well versed in all the different rules that need to be adhered to. For the Mr or Mrs angrys out there, it is wise not to give the Chat Hosts a hard time as they are pretty ruthless with the ‘silence button’, as the dissenters found whilst we were visiting the site. Overall though the chat room is fun and friendly and it’s good that the constant moaners are silenced so that they don’t spoil the fun for the other players.
